areas or projects.

Avalon Washaway
a plastic like water soluble stabiliser. Washes away in cold to warm water. Great for creating
fabric from fibres, for use behind machine embroidery or to stabilise anything while stitching. Can be used with or
without an embroidery hoop
Water Soluble Vilene
A firmer, more stable water soluble stabiliser than the Avalon. Easier to use. Washes
away in cold to warm water. Great for creating fabric from fibres, for use behind machine embroidery or to stabilise
anything while stitching. Can be used with or without an embroidery hoop
Tearaway
a firm non fusible interfacing or stabiliser. Ideal for foundation piecing, or to stabilise machine applique
or embroidery. Easy to stitch through and remove. Tears out better than paper. Will add bulk if left in.
Light Fusible Interfacing.
I used to use this for dressmaking, but is great for backing stitcheries and cross stitch etc before stitching
into blocks. Locks the threads down so the stitchery is washable. Also useful for adding a fine layer to stiffen
or reinforce textiles.
Medium Fusible Interfacing
This will add stiffness to fabrics and allow moulding and shaping. Two layers add significant body.
Will 'stand up' to beading and embellishing and allow you to make 3D elements that will continue to drape.
Very Heavy Fusible Interfacing
A very stiff interfacing that will add a lot of body behind fabric but remain a little flexible and
able to be stitched through. Great for Artist Trading Cards and Postcards or to make bowls, bags etc.
Fusible Shapemaker
like a buckram, a very stiff interfacing that will stand up by itself. Conventionally used for curtain
tiebacks and pelmets, will add a great deal of body to your project. Ideal for ATC's, Postcards and 3D work.
May need to be dampened slightly to improve adhesion to some fabrics (ie steam or spray bottles). A little goes a long
way.
Weaveline
Iron behind your stitching to add a very light body without the bulk. Use instead of pellon.
